Conferences

Jurix organises yearly conferences on the topic of Legal Knowledge and Information Systems, the first one in 1988. The proceedings of the conferences are published in the Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence and Applications series of IOS Press, the recent ones as gold open access.

The Jurix conference attracts a wide variety of participants, coming from government, academia and business. It fosters scientific exchanges between researchers, practitioners, and students, exploring recent advancements, challenges, and opportunities of technologies applied to legal and para-legal activities. Submissions cover topics as legal information systems, legal knowledge systems, artificial intelligence and law, computational and socio-technical approaches to law and other normative systems, covering foundations, methods, tools, systems, interfaces, and applications. It is accompanied by several workshops focusing on specific areas of this wide domain.
