Jurix 2010 Preliminary Program

The preliminary program of the Jurix 2010 conference is now online at the conference website. The conference will be held on December 16 and 17, with two workshops on the Wednesday before.

There will be a welcome reception between 6 and 8 pm. on Wednesday the 15th. Be there!

Thursday the 16th offers an exciting programme with an invited lecture by Wiebe van der Hoek (University of Liverpool) on “Reasoning about Normative Systems”, two sessions on formal models of legal reasoning, sessions on legal reasoning with time, and access to sources of law.

Friday the 17th offers an invited lecture by John Sheridan (National Archives) on “Written Laws are like Spider Webs“, two sessions on access to sources of law, sessions on burdens of proof and capturing semantics, and a session on formal models of legal reasoning.
