ICAIL 2019 – The 17th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law
Cyberjustice Laboratory, University of Montreal, Canada, June 17 to June 21, 2019
ICAIL 2019, the foremost international conference addressing research in Artificial Intelligence and Law, will take place in Montreal, Canada, at the Cyberjustice Laboratory of the University of Montreal from June 17 to June 21, 2019. The conference is organized biennially by the International Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law, in cooperation with AAAI and ACM SIGAI.

The invited speakers include Prof. Yoshua Bengio (University of Montreal), co-recipient of the 2018 ACM Turing Award.
There will be paper presentations on a wide range of topics in AI & Law, including machine learning applied to the legal domain, formal models of legal reasoning, innovative AI applications for the legal domain and ethical issues of AI in the legal domain.
The workshops cover a wide range of related topics, including AI applications for practice (administrative, legal), explainable AI and information extraction from legal texts.
